Upsized cashback in Singapore runs on a clock. This page is the clock: the monthly payday window, the double-digit marquee days, and a dated log of the rates we have actually seen — kept current so a big booking can be parked, checked, and placed inside a window instead of guessed.
The one rule travels with it. Cashback routes a purchase that was already decided; it never makes one. The full system — the browser-extension habit, the two-tab price test, the fine print that voids tracking — lives in the routing guide. This page is only its calendar, kept alive after the article ages.
The next window
Where the clock stands
Computed from your device’s clock, each time you open this page.
When ShopBack’s published calendar runs out, this strip falls back to the recurring pattern — and says so, because a projected date is a guess with a good track record, not an announcement.
The rhythm
When the upsized days land
ShopBack’s own published rhythm for Singapore, 2026. Bands are windows; dots are marquee days. There is no weekly pattern — the rest is ad hoc, shown on each store’s page.
Plus Day and the 15th apply to the paid tier only. Campaign days officially add roughly 1–5 percentage points to base rates; payday and marquee windows sometimes go far beyond that on selected stores — our 25 July booking ran at 14% against a 4.5% everyday rate.
Every month, the last week. Payday sales run from roughly the 25th to month-end — the reason our own year-end hotel run happened on a Saturday the 25th. The 1st (Plus Day, 1.2× cashback) and the 15th (member-only rates) apply to the paid tier, and only clear their ~S$2 monthly fee when real spending flows through the portal that month.
Every year, the fourth quarter. The double-digit days — 9.9, 10.10, 11.11, 12.12 — sit inside ShopFest, ShopBack’s September-to-December festival, with Black Friday and Cyber Monday between the last two and 11.11 historically the deepest. June brings the birthday sale — up to 35% upsized in recent years — with the Great Singapore Sale window alongside.
And some upsizes are simply ad hoc. No weekday pattern survives checking. The practical rule is boring: a big booking that can wait a few days should wait, parked until month-end or the next marquee date — and on the day, the store’s own ShopBack page is the only place the real rate exists.
Observed rates, dated
Rate pages show today and remember nothing. This table is the memory: each time we verify a ShopBack rate for a piece or a real booking, the reading lands here with the date it was read. It opens with the readings behind the routing guide, and it grows.
| Date read | Store | Rate | Type | Context |

| Shopeeexisting customers | token rate | everyday | The headline rate is new-customer only; the routing guide recorded the condition, not a figure.merchant page | |

Readings are spot checks on the dates shown, not averages, and rates can be personalised to the account — treat your own logged-in rate as the truth. An upsized reading is a window we actually caught, not a ceiling and not a floor.
Sources, and where this page is soft
Sources
- The rhythm: ShopBack’s 2026 Singapore sale calendar (July 2026 — payday sales the last Friday–Sunday of each month; 9.9 through 12.12; Black Friday 27 Nov; Cyber Monday 30 Nov), its sale-calendar strategy guide (campaign days add roughly 1–5 percentage points to base rates) and payday-sale explainer (May 2026). The two sources cut the payday window differently — the calendar says the last Friday–Sunday of the month, the explainer roughly the 25th to month-end — so this page draws the wider window.
- ShopFest’s September–December span: press coverage of the launch. June birthday-sale upsizes per ShopBack SG’s own campaign posts, 2024–2025.
- Plus Day on the 1st, member rates on the 15th, and the paid tier’s mechanics: ShopBack’s official Plus article.
- Everyday rates in the log, read off the merchant pages on 6 August 2026: Booking.com, Trip.com, Agoda, Klook, Shopee and Lazada.
- The 14% upsized reading: our own dashboard, 25 July 2026 — the booking is shown to the cent in the routing guide.
Where this page is soft
- The calendar is a pattern, not a promise. It is drawn from ShopBack’s published 2026 calendar and past campaign coverage; ShopFest 2026 had not been formally announced for Singapore as we wrote, and projected dates for later years are pattern, flagged as such in the strip above.
- Rates drift and can be personalised. Every reading in the log is what the page said to us, on that date, on our account. Check your own logged-in rate before relying on any number here.
- The log is young. Five readings is a start, not a history. The page earns its keep as entries accrete.
A note on what this is not. ShopBack has not paid for, seen, or influenced this page, and links to it here are ordinary links, not referral links — the same footing as the guide this calendar grew out of.
General information and education only. This is not financial advice and takes no account of your objectives, situation or needs. Campaign dates, cashback rates and terms change without notice and ShopBack decides its own campaigns; nothing here guarantees any rate or window. Check current terms before relying on anything on this page.
